Drawing and painting are very popular hobbies. This free program lets you practice your artistic abilities with its many tools and options. It has an interface akin to that of other painting programs. At left, you will find a set of tools such as brushes, gradient, stamp, text and so on. These can be modified according to your needs. For example, you can set the size, color and form of a brush or the font, size and color of the text. At right, the properties, color and layer panel will appear, showing you the different options available for each tool.
The program lets you work in layers, thus you can paint the background, add a layer and work with it, and if you don't like it, you can delete that layer without affecting the background.
Once you have finished your work, you can save it in a variety of formats, including .AWD (the native Artweaver format) as well as .JPG, .BMP, .TIFF and more.
If you are familiar with other painting programs, then you will find this application very easy to use. If not, then you can explore all its possibilities and find your unique style.
When I was using it, the program "freezed" a couple of times, but it was a minor annoyance. Nevertheless, you may want to save your work often to avoid any loss.
If you like the free version of the program, you may want to upgrade it to the Pro version, which has more tools and is available on the developer's website.
